Lifespace Communities Adds Two Key Positions For Organizational Growth
February 1, 2016
As part of its continued efforts to create communities that celebrate the lives of seniors, Lifespace Communities announces the hiring of two key members of the organization’s future. Jodi Bleier has been named vice president of financial operations and strategic growth, and Brian Devlin joins Lifespace as director of design, construction and development.
Bleier brings 17 years of experience in health care and senior living to her new role, which includes oversight of all lead generation strategies, programs for acquisitions and mergers, as well as business development and financial analysis. Most recently, Bleier served as director of the health care consulting group and senior living practice at Dixon Hughes Goodman in Atlanta, Georgia.
“I’m happy to have the opportunity to combine my love for numbers and my love for providing the best services and care for seniors, something Lifespace holds in high regard,” Bleier said. “This is an organization with ambitious financial and strategic growth goals, and I’m excited to take on the challenge.”
Devlin joins Lifespace with over 13 years of experience in senior living project development. Throughout his career, he’s led over $700 million in development and building efforts for industry leaders such as Greystone Communities and Greenbrier Development.
“Lifespace is dedicated to providing the very best to its residents,” Devlin said. “I’m excited to join a team that’s willing to push boundaries to ensure we’re offering the finest design and lifestyle options.”
Larry Smith, CFO of Lifespace, says the hires bring dynamic individuals to the organization.
“Both Jodi and Brian will fit well with the positive and forward-thinking culture we’re building in the organization,” he said. “We’re fortunate to be in a position to bring such talented individuals on board.”
Lifespace President and CEO Sloan Bentley echoed those sentiments.
“The next decade is going to be vital for our organization,” she said. “These additions to the team will help ensure that Lifespace continues to be a leader in the field of senior living for years to come.”
Bleier received her bachelor’s degree in mathematics and her master’s degree in business administration (MBA) and health science (MHS) from the University of Florida. Devlin received his bachelor’s degree in architecture from Texas Tech University.
